Please join us in congratulating Dwight Holland, MD, PhD, on receiving the Flying Physicians Association 2025 Tabari Award for the best scientific/medical presentation at the Annual Meeting.

Dr. Holland continues to make significant contributions to the aerospace and life sciences community as Member-at-Large for the Aerospace Physiology Society, Treasurer of the Air & Space Forces Association for Virginia, and Historian and Social Chair for the Life Sciences and Biomedical Engineering Branch of AsMA.

We are also pleased to announce that Dr. Holland was recently promoted to Officer in the Most Venerable Order of St John by the administration of His Royal Highness King Charles III. This distinguished order, founded in the 11th century, is dedicated to protecting and caring for the sick, poor, and vulnerable.

Additionally, several of our members recently attended the Boston Human Spaceflight Symposium, where they engaged with leaders from various fields, including medicine, engineering, and the sciences.

Held at Massachusetts General Hospital and MIT, the symposium brought together experts to address emerging challenges and innovations in human spaceflight. The event fostered valuable interdisciplinary collaboration across clinical practice, aerospace physiology, technology development, and operations in space and extreme environments. We are excited for their continued contributions to the field.
